My research focuses on creating multifunctional, vascular networks in composite materials and exploiting them for self-healing and thermal management of composites.
Currently I am investigating the possibilities of improving the efficiency of the self-healing systems by using vascules. I am also looking at the effects of elevated temperature on properties of composite materials and how it can be regulated via vascular networks.
I am working under the supervision of Prof. Ian Bond (ACCIS) and Prof. Duncan Wass (School of Chemistry). My PhD is funded by the University of Bristol Scholarship
