I am investigating ultrasonic assembly as an additive layer manufacturing process for short fibre reinforced composites. This work is conducted in collaboration with Prof Bruce Drinkwater in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Currently, I am focusing on the exploration of material structures that can be assembled using this process, as well as the fabrication of thin film composites.

I joined the ACCIS DTC programme in 2010, after having obtained an MSci degree in Physics at Cardiff University.
